Advantages:
1. Physical properties: Good resilience and wear resistance, excellent anti-slip and shock absorption performance. The softness and comfort of TPR material are superior to those of rubber, but its tensile strength, fatigue resistance and mechanical properties are not as good as those of vulcanized rubber.
2. Chemical properties: Operating temperature range: -45 to 90℃. The TPR material usually referred to is based on SBS substrate, with average weather resistance and aging resistance, and a temperature resistance of 70 to 75℃. If materials with good aging resistance and temperature resistance are required, modified materials based on SEBS can be selected.
3. Hardness characteristics: The hardness of TPR materials can be adjusted within the Shore hardness range of 5 to 100 degrees, while modified materials based on SEBS can be adjusted to even lower hardness.
4. Processing characteristics: TPR material has excellent bonding performance with certain adhesives, inks, etc., and has good oil spraying and screen printing processability.
5. Environmental protection features: As an environmentally friendly soft rubber, TPR material has been tested for major hazardous substances such as phthalates, nonylphenol (NP), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). It complies with the environmental protection testing standards of ROHS,REACH,EN71-3, and ASTMF963.
Application:
1. Automotive industry: Used for CVJ dust covers, steering gear sleeves, shock absorber sleeves, etc.
2. Construction industry: Used for door and window sealing strips and insulation materials, meeting long-term performance and stability requirements.
3. Shoe materials: As the main material for soles and insoles, it provides a comfortable wearing experience and wear resistance.
4. Toy manufacturing: Favored for its non-toxicity, odorlessness and soft touch.
5. Medical devices and food packaging: Due to its environmentally friendly characteristics, TPR materials have also been widely used in these fields.
